PSHE at Stafford Leys

At Stafford Leys School, Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and Citizenship education is recognised as a necessary part of a young person’s full educational entitlement.

The PSHE curriculum consists of 6 themes which are taught throughout the year. These themes include New Beginnings, Getting On and Falling Out, Going for Goals, Good to Be Me, Relationships and Changes. The PSHE Curriculum is designed to encourage positive behaviour and effective learning by addressing issues that are important to the children’s social and emotional development.

During the Autumn Term the children also learn about different types of bullying, including cyber bullying, as part of the national “Anti-Bullying” week. There are age appropriate activities for the children to do during this week.
